Dear Visitor,
As Edna
St. Vincent Millay, a native of Camden, wrote in her famous
poem, "Renascence":
"All I could see from where I stood
was three long mountains and a wood.
I turned and looked another way,
and saw three islands in a bay."
How
accurately these words describe the unrivaled charm of
Camden, and The High Tide Inn.
Our
search to find the perfect spot to live and work took
us from Quebec City to Charleston, S.C. When we found
The High Tide Inn on the ocean our searching ended.
We
feel that Camden and The High Tide Inn possess the very
essence of what people come to Maine to find in Spring,
Summer and Fall. And think you too will be glad to end
your searching at The High Tide Inn on the ocean.
See you soon!

Jo Freilich, Innkeeper
